Parking, bike, and public transportation
Can I park my car nearby?
Yes, you can. You will find several free parking spots just a few meters from our front door on Torvet and down Boulevarden - Holsteinshus B&B is located on the corner of Holsteinsgade and Bouldevarden. You can see the full overview of parking options in Odder here.
Can I bring my bike?
Yes, you can. You are more than welcome to bring your bike during your stay with us. There is a small bike rack for parking your bike just inside the gate to our garden.
Can I borrow a bike during my stay?
Yes, you can. You can borrow a bike during your stay - free of charge. Please write in the message fieldwhen you send us your request if you want to borrow a bike.
How far is it to the train/bus/light rail?
Odder Station is just over 200 meters from the front door. So whether you arrive via public transportation or want to go on an excursion, it's not far to and from the station.
How far are the nearest airports?
Billund Airport is about 80 km away and Aarhus Airport is about 65 km away.
During your stay
Can I bring my dog with me during my stay?
Yes! Your dog is more than welcome to join you on vacation with us. For a one-time fee of only DKK 100,- per dog, you can purchase access to your dog in the room/apartment. The garden is also enclosed, so your dog can run around freely. Please write in the message field, when you send us your request if you want to buy access for your dog.
Can I use the spa & wellness area?
Use of the Spa & Wellness area is by appointment. So don't hesitate to contact us if you want to relax in our cozy hot tub or sauna. The loan of a bathrobe for this can also be arranged.
Can I smoke in my room/apartment?
No. Holsteinshus B&B is a non-smoking B&B. If you wish to smoke, you can do so outside or in the garden. If you smoke in the rooms/apartment, it will cost you DKK 1.000,- for extra cleaning. If the fire alarm is triggered due to smoking, you will be fined DKK 1.500,-
Can I bring toddlers?
Yes, you can. At Holsteinshus B&B you are more than welcome to bring small children with you. You can rent a weekend bed during your stay, and in the café you will also find a high chair you can borrow.
Blackout curtains
All rooms and the bedroom in the apartment have blackout curtains.
Can I get breakfast during my stay?
Yes, you can. You can purchase our delicious breakfast for only DKK 90,- per person per day when you send us your request.
The food consists of homemade buns/bread, rye bread, cheese, cold cuts, jam, boiled egg, natural yogurt with granola, fresh fruit and vegetables, juice, coffee and tea..
To minimize food waste, you will receive a note on arrival where you can choose what you would like for breakfast.
If you would like a vegan breakfast, or have allergies to take into consideration, please write this in the message field, when you send us your booking request
Do I need to bring my own sheets/bedding/towels?
No. The rooms/apartment are made up for your arrival and we have towels for you to use during your stay with us.
Free tea and coffee
If you stay in one of our rooms, you are free to make tea and coffee in the café and kitchen and make use of the shared kitchen facilities at the café.
There is a fully equipped kitchen in the apartment.
Laundry
It is possible to borrow a washing machine and dryer during your stay. You just need to bring your own detergent.
General information
Check-in and check-out
You can check in to your room/apartment between 15:00 and 21:00.
Please send us an email at least 24 hours in advance with the time you expect to arrive, so we can be there for your arrival.
Minimum age at check-in is 18 years. You must be able to present a valid photo ID if requested.
Check-out must be no later than 10:30 am. If you need to check out later, this can be arranged with us.
Cancellation
You can cancel your stay free of charge up to 24 hours before your arrival. After that, it costs the full amount to cancel your stay.
Forgotten items
If you have forgotten something during your stay with us, please call or email us as soon as possible. We store forgotten items for a maximum of 4 weeks, after which they will be thrown out or given away.
Who can rent a room/apartment?
We welcome everyone to join us! However, please note that only people over the age of 18 can make bookings. You must be able to present a valid photo ID if we request it.
We do not rent out rooms/apartments for parties and the like.
Group bookings
If you would like to make a group booking, please send us a request stating the number of people, dates, duration and how many rooms you would like to book and we will get back to you regarding price and availability.
Stays over Christmas/New Year
You can also book a stay over Christmas and New Year. Here the prices are slightly higher. Prices are valid in the period 21/12 – 02/01.
- Rooms (1-3): DKK 900,- as a double room / DKK 700,- as a single room. The price is per night.
- Apartment: DKK 1.500,- (min. 2 nights). The price is per night.
Extra bedding
You can buy extra bedding as an additional purchase.
- Extra bedding for a child: DKK 100,- per day per child.
- Extra bedding for an adult: DKK 200,- per day per adult.
Shared facilities
If you stay in one of our rooms, you have free use of the bathroom, kitchen and café.
The garden
The garden is free to use for all our guests. Here you will also find several table and bench sets, a fire pit, a barbecue, a hammock and a large grassy area.
TV and WiFi
Free WiFi is available throughout Holsteinshus B&B.
Room 2 and the apartment have their own TV and Chromecast for the guests staying there to use as they please.
There is also a TV and Chromecast in the Café, which you are welcome to use.
Sustainability / food waste
At Holsteinshus B&B we serve organic breakfasts as much as possible and reduce our food waste by only making what you want to eat as a guest. This way, we don't overcook or serve things that don't get eaten.

Payment
At Holsteinshus B&B you can pay by card, mobilepay , or cash. Payment is made upon arrival.
